1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Painters of War, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
Painters of War is a community platform for miniature painters to showcase their work, participate in community voting, and engage in head-to-head painting comparisons. The platform allows users to connect their Instagram accounts to import and display images of their painted miniatures.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform
- One account per person; duplicate accounts may be removed
4. User Content
By submitting images and content to Painters of War, you:
- Confirm that the miniatures you submit were painted by you. Submitting images of work painted by anyone other than yourself is prohibited and will result in removal of the content and suspension or termination of your account
- Retain ownership of your original content (photos, artwork, etc.)
- Grant us a non-exclusive license to display, cache, and distribute your submitted images within the platform for voting and community features
- Confirm that you have the right to share the content you submit
- Agree not to submit content that is offensive, infringing, or violates any laws
5. Instagram Integration
When you connect your Instagram account, you authorize us to access your public profile and media as permitted by the Instagram/Facebook API. You may disconnect your Instagram account at any time. Our use of Instagram data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Facebook's Platform Terms.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Manipulate voting through bots, scripts, or multiple accounts
- Coordinate, trade, solicit, or otherwise tamper with votes to boost the standing of any painter, including yourself or others. Evidence of vote tampering or vote manipulation will result in immediate suspension or a permanent ban
- Harass, abuse, or intimidate other users
- Submit content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your profile, cached images, and voting history from the platform.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will be error-free.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
